This smells nice and it’s a good size bottle. It’s helping my hair grow: after 2-3 weeks of use, my boyfriend noticed that my hair is longer. The shampoo does a great job of cleaning your hair, without it being too stripping. I will say that I initially felt like it was drying out my hair (mine is fine and thin). It works well if you’re using hair oils etc too. I wish it was a little more moisturizing. My hair looks and feels healthier after using this, so I’ll continue to buy it. Love how there was the option to open the bottle each use or to pump the product out.

I really like this shampoo and conditioner. They smell great and work well providing moisture without weight or stickiness. I should have paid closer attention to the size though because I thought they were liters. I usually stock up on expensive hair products twice a year when the $40 liter bottle is $10-12. These are just too expensive for this mama of 5 to buy at this price point regularly. Great product though.

I cannot attest to the product’s ability to stimulate hair growth as I have just started using it. I am, however, sold on how it makes my scalp & hair feel. I may be allergic to many other lines of hair care but regardless of price have only fared “okay” with sulfate-free items. I still have a tendency to itch & get bumps on my scalp. I had never heard of castor oil being used for anything other than old time laxatives. With nothing to lose as my hair continues to thin, I figured I would give it a try. I have 62-year old, fine, grey hair. It used to fall out so fast that I wondered why I wasn’t bald. Not since I have been using this! I can feel the difference from the moment I massage in the shampoo. It is so silky that I was initially afraid it would leave my hair greasy. It is just the opposite. I can finally go a couple of days between shampoos and I am not seeing the fallout. I have been getting compliments on my hair since using it too. It’s been a long time since that has happened. This review was not solicited. It has just been such a game changer for me that I wanted to share my thoughts with anyone else that might have given up trying. It is a small price to pay for such drastic results!

As I’ve gotten older my hair has been thinning and not as full and getting frizzier by the minute. I’m a curly girl and the frizz was driving me crazy! I tried expensive products suggested by my stylist and everything on the market to add volume without drying my hair out or weighing it down. I believe I have finally found my perfect product! I have been using this shampoo and conditioner together now for about a week or so and I can honestly say my hair has never felt so good! It provides enough moisture so I’m not frizzy, but doesn’t weigh it down. It’s bouncy, shiny and way more manageable than it’s been in a long time. It has also reduced hair loss. I’m hoping that, with continued use, I’ll have some re-growth. But even if that doesn’t happen, I will be using this product for a long time.

This is my third order of this shampoo and conditioner. My hair was getting thin and falling out. I have natural silver white hair which was badly damaged, very dry and frizzy. I was using an expensive salon brand that really wasn’t doing much for my hair at all. While doing research for something else I happened upon castor oil and it’s hair growing benefits. I decided to try it as it was a good price and felt if it didn’t work than I wouldn’t be wasting a lot of money. It was the best decision I have made! After the first use my hair was soft and smooth and shiny! And my hair is growing back and getting thicker! It is also growing faster than it ever has! Give it a try, you won’t be disappointed!

I have ordered 3 sets of these now. I cannot say it has helped with my hair breakage but my hair does feel a lot thicker than it has before. I like the way my hair feels after using it. My husband really likes it also. My only issue is that the cap on the shampoo leaks - all three sets. So when I travel about the amount I would use to wash my hair has leaked all over the bottle and the plastic bag I put it in to travel. So basically in a week’s time I lose 3 or 4 days of shampoo.

I have used both the Argan Oil shampoo and conditioner and the Castor Oil set. Both are nice and work well but I prefer the scent of the Castor Oil shampoo and conditioner. It has helped keep my hair from continuously falling out. Worth a try definitely.

Overall, I'm very happy with the castor oil shampoo and conditioner. I could see fast growth and my hair definitely feels softer. I've noticed that in the shower I have much less hair loss. I have longer hair and the 16 oz. bottles lasted about 2 months. I reordered and the new bottles I received must have a slightly different makeup, noticeable by the color and smell of the product. It smells better, not that the first bottles I used smelled bad, but there is definitely a fragrant smell now. The only downside is that I think my hair looks and feels a little bit greasy with the new bottles, so I only apply the conditioner to the very ends of my hair.

I like this product very much. I have used it, in combination with the Conditioner, for about 10 weeks. My hair appears fuller and is soft and shiney. I will continue to use these 2 products as they have a pleasant smell and do seem to give my hair a nice shine, as well as some added volume. Great product. Highly recommend.

I love the shampoo and conditioner! Iove that it doesn't leave a greasy residue on my hair after you rinse it and how it feels like it's actually coating my hair. I love the smell too. It's not too strong. I would really like to see how different the Argan oil conditioner is compared to the Castor oil because the shampoos were so different between the two. Most noticibly the texture was very different.

I have used this shampoo for about a month now and wanted to wait until I could give a proper opinion before writing a review. I was looking for a solution to my hair loss problem and I was placing a lot of hope on this shampoo. What I found was that it did seem to help in the beginning but over time, I have gone back to losing a fair amount of hair after every washing. I'm still using the shampoo because it has a pleasant smell and does seem to give my hair a nice shine, as well as some added volume. At first I tried using it without a conditioner but found that my hair was difficult to manage, so I purchased the Shiny Leaf conditioner and it has been much better. I also like the fact that the two products are safe on color-treated hair, so I will continue to use them.

I love it!!! Soft, shiny, healthy looking but not weighted down. I have very fine hair and normally do not use conditioner because my hair just looks limp when I do. I have been having scalp problems (dry and itchy) and also losing more hair as I am aging. My hair dresser mentioned that castor oil could help. I researched Amazon and found both the shampoo and conditioner. I am amazed at the difference threes two products have made in just a short period of time. This shampoo does moisturize as stated, though for me using both shampoo and conditioner everyday is to softening, so only use conditoner sparingly 1-2 times a week, I have not been using it long enough to notice any growth but am hoping in time I will see it. It has stopped my hair from seemingly falling out as much, all in all am happy with the product and will post again after some time has past.

Wait read till the end. I ordered castor oil shampoo and conditioner. The castor oil shampoo arrived leaking and very liquidly. I got a chance to get another free product from "Shiny Leaf" web site. So I went to their web site and left an honest review stating that the conditioner is very good quality and makes hair shiny and silky but the shampoo doesn't have good quality because it is very liquidly. To my surprise I was contacted back by customer service. They wrote that they are very sorry for what was happened and that they will send me another shampoo besides the free product. When I got the new castor oil shampoo, I found out that it is totally different then the one that was sent before. This one has an excellent quality very thick, very nice smell and makes my dry hair very silky and healthy looking.

I am actually impressed with this shampoo. I have used a lot of shampoos for the years and I have been trying to transition to more natural shampoos that are sulfate free. I have used this shampoo for a few weeks and what I like most about it is that it does not strip the hair. I typically shampoo twice and after the first time shampooing my hair normally feels dry and stripped of its natural oils prior to placing the conditioner on. However, after shampooing twice with this shampoo in the shower my hair doesn’t feel dry or stripped, yet it feels clean. The conditioner is a great follow up to this shampoo and it smells pleasant!!
