Shiny Leaf Vitamin C Serum contains 2% Sodium Ascorbyl Phosphate, the most stable version of vitamin C. This concentration makes this serum less irritating compared to other serums and suitable for dry and sensitive skin.
How often should I use Retinol?
Retinol can be used as often as twice daily. If it is your first time to use it, you should start small with a drop or two, 2-3 nights a week. If everything goes well after about two weeks, and you do not experience any redness, dryness, or flaking, you can gradually increase the frequency to everyday. The key is to integrate retinol slowly and gently to give the skin time to adjust to the product.
At what age should I start using retinol?
Thirties is the age when early signs of aging such as sun spots or fine lines start to appear. Your skin will thank you later if you start early. You may begin to incorporate retinol into your regimen in your mid 20s or early 30s.
CAN RETINOL BE USED AS A MOISTURIZER?

Is this type of Vitamin C sensitive to light?
Generally, vitamin C derivatives are sensitive to light, that’s why you need to give it time to absorb in your skin before going into the light. If you often go out under the sun, avoid using L-Ascorbic Acid because it’s very unstable and exposure to light will make it useless. Choose vitamin C derivatives like magnesium ascorbyl phosphate or sodium ascorbyl phosphate found in the Shiny Leaf Vitamin C Serum. It is less sensitive to light compared to other types of vitamin C.
