I didn’t realize how much I loved this Shiny Leaf until I purchased other brands. Shiny Leaf is a high quality organic castor oil with minimal smell. Shiny Leaf mixes well with the other oils I use allowing the smell of the others dominate which is important to me.

Nice product, seems to be helping, enjoy using it. My only suggestion would be that the opening would be larger. It is a very sticky, thick oil (which is what makes it work) but it is difficult to get it out without dripping down the sides of the bottle. I just scoop it up and use it as a moisturizer for my hands, but would be nice not to have the mess.

While doing research on natural pain relief for bursitis I found that castor oil was one of the best. I ordered a small bottle of a different brand and tried it. It worked well enough that I did more research and found shinyleaf. I decided to try it on my arthritis in my knees and hip and I ordered a large bottle and am so glad I did! It works even better! I thought it was a fluke at first so I quit using it and the pain got very bad again. I again started using the castor oil and the pain was more controlled. If you have arthritis you know that nothing takes away all the pain, but this product really helps control it with my medication. I am a pharmacy tech and am on my feet all day. I have had arthritis since I was 18 and have been a pharmacy tech for almost 30 years so you can believe me when I say this works! It also works in growing your eyelashes! My lashes have never been so long and they have even regrown where I had lost some!

Product was well packaged and arrived promptly. I use it primarily for moisturizing and it does that. I am unsure about the hair growth part of it., and it is a very thick oil, so I doubt I would use it for hair care. I like that it comes in a large bottle. Most other oils come in smaller sizes.

I use the cheapest castor oil when I'm making soap. However, then I wanted to use castor oil on my hair I wanted something organic and of high quality. Shiny Leaf didn't disappoint. I will buy more when I run out.

Very happy with purchase. After mixing with a little Rosemary essential oil and using on my scalp, I have noticed an improvement after the first application. Also, mix with a little coconut oil and apply to face at night and seems to also improve skin.

I bought Castor Oil with the hope that it would fill in my patchy beard. I have been using Castor Oil for about 2 years now on and off. When I would see friends I hadn't seen in a while they would comment that my beard grew out of nowhere. It's completely filled in most of the gaps in my beard. In the past two years, there have been months-long periods where I did not apply the oil and the progress would stall. Recently, I began rubbing it on my mustache and eyebrows again and it is filling in the remaining light spots in the upper part of my stache and thickening my eyebrows. I could not be happier with the results. I'm not sure why it works, but Castor oil is the only thing I have found that will thicken and grow facial hair.

Not just certified organic but also *cold-pressed* which is MUCH better quality than conventional expeller-pressed. Also, the bottle color is amber -- not the common clear/transparent -- and the amber color protects the oil from sunlight damage. The seller's packaging was also thoughtful and detail oriented (arrived with a very convenient eyelash wand and company note). I love Castor oil not just for my skin, eyelashes and eyebrows but ALSO for oil pulling because castor is one of the "thickest" oils out there and dental plaque/tartar is fatsoluble, meaning it's attracted to/dissolves with fats. Very thick oil. I bought it for me eyelashes buy my face was dry and flaky so I used it all over my face at night. I normally use a moisturizing lotion but my skin was stubbornly dry. After 1 application my skin felt so soft and moisturized.

Description: This oil comes in a tall dark container to preserve the oils life. The oil is VERY thick and sticky at first and the smell is not great but you can mix it easily with other oils, I got use to the smell. Now for the good parts, this oil is so moisturizing and makes my hands and face, feel awesome! It’s kinda sticky at first but as you rub it in, the stickiness goes away. There’s a lot of healing properties to it. I have picked my nails my WHOLE life, not being able to stop. A few weeks after I started using the oil, the urge to pick was completely gone and my nails were super long and beautiful! Everyone in my family noticed and thought it was the weirdest thing to see me with nails and long ones at that! I have tried it on the base of my eyelashes but it kept running into my eye but I want to try it again. I know it’s great for hair and scalp as well but I only used it once or twice on my hair because I am not a “shower everyday” kind of girl but if you are this could be the very thing you need. I have lots of oils but this one is one of my top three for sure! Oh one more thing, it so affordable!!

Cannot say much about results as I haven't used it enough times but I offered my mom to use it on her nails as they were starting to break vertically and were painful . I was extremely skeptical about this. I need a product to help my eyebrows because my eyebrows have a mind of their own and are completely uneven. I have one beautiful brow and the other never wants to grow. I used this twice on my brow before bed. I am not lying, MY BROW LOOKS AMAZING. Very good value and wonderful product. I Was told about castor oil by my midwife great grandmother. She called it the “Palma Christi” the hand of Christ and used it for many ailments. I use it for inflammation....rub into aching joints, then wrap in flannel and warm with friction (or hair dryer). If you can, leave wrapping on overnight. Keep using until joints stop aching. It has worked on my husband’s knee for 30 years!

I just received the product. Came with a little free gift, which was a nice touch. It appears to be a good quality product. I bought it for my soap making because I prefer my ingredients to be as natural/organic as I can afford. I have a lot of hair, but notice that it's been shedding a lot lately. Was looking for a product to make it healthy again and prevent breakage. I am not new to castor oil. I've tried it in the past, but it's always been so thick and had a foul odor. This product isn't too thick and gooey, and there's no odor. After the initial application, my scalp felt moisturized and my hair was shiny. Best of all, my hair didn't feel weighted down, as it did with other oils. Would definitely buy this again! I am not sure if product helpful or not. I bought it for my falling hair. I can't use it all the time because it makes my hair greasy. It is very thick oil with faulty droplet as others stated. I use it occasionally and haven't had it long enough to say if it is helpful. However, by washing my hair and drying with hairdryer more I damage them more :(

Works well for eyelash growth and excellent for hair. I purchased ShinyLeaf Castor Oil Shampoo and Conditioner. If you add a few drops of this to the shampoo and leave it on for about two minutes, it works great. Hair is soft and shiny without feeling heavy or looking greasy.

The castor oil is great. I have never had such quick results from an oil product before. I even am able to wear it under makeup. The only thing I am having to get used to is how thick it is.

I love this !!! Im seeing big improvements, and yes it is a very thick oil. I have thick hair so it doesnt bother me. This is a large amount of oil since a little goes a long way. I purchased it to hopefully regrow and/or thicken the hair on my eyebrows and eyelashes. (I'm 44 and they have started thinning.) I've only used it for one week so its too early to tell if I'm seeing benefits from that. But what I have found is that I am also using it on my face skin for extra moisture and loving that. My skin has been unusually dry this winter. I have sensitive skin and usually have to be careful of using too much product because I easily breakout in acne. This castor oil isn't presenting that problem at all. It makes my skin feel great.

I use this castor oil for my lashes and brows. I apply the oil in the evening, about every other night. My brows and lashes look amazing! I’ve been trying to regrow hair in sparse areas of my brows and I’ve definitely noticed a difference. I wouldn’t say that my lashes are longer, but they seem fuller and well conditioned. I can’t say it’s a miracle performer (I wouldn’t expect that), but it’s improved the overall appearance of my eyebrows and lashes.

My ophthalmologist said that I shouldn't put it in my eyes. :( so far out of everything I've tried, this is the only thing that helps my eye problem. :( other than that, it makes the eyelashes grow & eyebrows too. I have thin hair and this has seriously helped. It basically saved my hair. I hated my hair so bad that I tried extensions which made my situation worse. I'm not an expert on castor oil, but this is very clear and somewhat viscous. Goes on easily and does not wipe off right away. I use it on my eyebrows and shins at night and after the shower to keep the skin from drying out. It has worked very well. I feel confident that it is of the highest quality.

Been using it for 3 week's going for a month of using the Organic Castor Oil. Have been applying it to my eyebrows and eyelashes have seen my eyebrows hair thicker but my eyelashes seem needs more time to see a difference, it's fine to wait for better results(these does not happen overnight). Slow and steady just have to keep up and not missed applying the oil. You have to be constantly applying everyday to see better results. Great product with a decent price the jar will last you a couple months since you don't need a lot of product. 100% recommend it The first picture is after 3weeks using the castor oil. The second picture is before using. I do have my eyebrows tattoo but I do see the thickness of my hair.

For as long as I can remember. I’ve had really dry scalp issues. I’ve tried shampoos both OTC and medicated. But nothing really helped. A friend recommended castor oil so I began checking reviews on Amazon and this one caught my eye. I can see why it has such positive reviews. The bottle allows for both dropper and brush use, but since I was using it on my scalp, I just used the dropper. I applied drops all over my irritating parts of my scalp and massaged in. In just a few days of using it (each day), I have noticed such a difference. I am itching less and certainly not shedding skin or hair like I have been. I’ll be continuing to use and look forward to having not only a healthier scalp but healthier hair as well.

Got this Castro oil about 3 weeks ago. Have been applying to my lash when I do remember. The oil is definitely thicker than most oils. It has no smell which I like. My lashes seem to grow a little bit longer and thicker. My old camera doesn't have the capability to take close up or I would show it here. In addition, the oil came without any lash brushes. I contacted the seller and they sent me a pack of it!

I've never tried castor oil before, but I'm going to try it to thicken and lengthen eyelashes. I like this bottle of organic castor oil because it comes with a dropper, a regular lid, and an eyelash want. Also, you get a large bottle for the price!

I bought this castor oil mainly to use it for my hair, eyelashes, and eyebrows. Been using castor oil since then. it’s really a thick oil and great for the scalp. I usually massage the oil on my scalp mainly near my forehead. I also put on my eyelashes, eyebrows, and tip of my hair every night. So far, I like it. I can tell that it is a quality product. The consistency of the oil is good... it is thick and luxurious and it doesn’t stink. Need a little patience to apply it every night because it can be messy haha.. yes I will recommend it especially if you are looking to achieve nice eyelashes and eyebrows and even to make your hair healthy!

I got this castor oil to try and grow my eyelashes longer and thicker. My eyebrows have really thinned out as of late so I’m using it on them as well. I know that it will take time, but so far so good. I like that this bottle came with a high-quality glass dropper, so I don’t have to make a mess when transferring it to a different container to mix, and the option to change the lid out. And as if they knew what I was going to use it for, it came with an eyelash brush!

I started using this a week ago and can already see results. I have taken before pictures and will in a few weeks with after. So many things to write. Okay first, I have never used castor oil before. I am a huge oil user but have never tried this. The oil is soft and soaks in nicely. I never feel greasy after using it. Which is indicative of a good brand. Second, after a week I can already see growth. As you can see from the pictures my eyelashes are light and practically nonexistent. I can tell they have grown longer and now have a slight curve in them. I am super excited to see what they are like in 2-4 weeks. Third, the picture is off with this product. You can see it shows the oil as orangish. It's a clear color which I prefer because I always worry that color will dye my skin like blue tansy or lemongrass. I love this product and have also started using it on my dog who is having skin issues. He doesn't mind it because it's odorless.

When my son was little all his hair fell out and I used castor oil to help it grow and thicken. My grandbaby is three and has really thin, fine hair that is still really short. I purchased this to help with her hair as her mama refuses to put anything on it and she is with me half the time. I have been putting it on for several weeks. I have noticed her hair is a bit thicker and grown about a 1/4 of an inch already. This can also be used on brows and skin but I have used it in those areas. It is a great formula of the oil and doesn't have a nasty smell either nor is too sticky. I really like it.

I was quite skeptical when I got this but it really does work! It very easy to put on. I have been putting this on every night before bed and I really do see good results! I have been using castor oil on my lashes for quite some time (at least 6 months).It has made my lashed stronger and they don't fall out as often. As far as growth, I haven't noticed a drastic difference in length. However, my lashes are fuller and definitely stronger. Would recommend this 100% -- the brush is awesome and a must.

I use this after washing my face and my hands before bed. I use about 3 drops and it just feels good on my skin. The consistency of this oil is so rich and thick and not greasy at all when it dries. I also put this oil on my dry elbows and they look so much better now and noticeably softer. It moisturizes better than lotion. However, I haven't tried using this on my eyebrows or hair yet as I have oily hair that doesn’t need extra moisturization. Though I like the eyebrow wand that comes with it. What I also love very much about this product is the glass dropper, it makes the application of the oil super easy and mess-free, plus it doesn’t leave a weird smell on my skin. Originally bought this product for my eyelashes since I've heard so many good things about castor oil helping with hair growth. But recently had eyelash extensions done, so I'm using it for my hair instead. I didn't want to put it directly on my scalp because I know my hair would get extremely greasy, so I put it in my conditioner instead. I used it as a deep conditioner. I feel like my hair did not tangle as much as it usually does and it dries a little quicker too. I only put a couple of drops in every time I use it so this bottle will last me quite a long time! When the eyelash extensions fall out I'll start using it for my eyelashes too. And this product comes with an eyelash wand so it can be applied pretty easily.

This organic castor oil is terrific ~ It arrives in an amber colored bottle which helps keep it nice and fresh for a long time. Also of special note, it comes with an additional twist on the cover if you don't want to leave the dropper lid in and an eyelash want. While I do not put it on my eyelashes I do put it on my eyebrows. I put this on my head, hair and bead and find that it helps my hair and skin. It doesn't feel heavy, it feels conditioned I guess would be the right word. I am enjoying it. I also put it on extremely dry areas of skin.

I bought this oil particularly for my eyelashes as they were falling out a lot and I have heard great things about castor oil.The best part is it comes both with the dropper and mascara wand.I knew I wanted it for my eyelashes so I removed the inner plastic part from actual cap and placed mascara wand securely in the hole there.That served two purposes, first, my wand is always inside the oil itself so I am not always searching for it every time I want to apply castor oil and second I can avoid getting dirt and germ on the wand that would gather if I leave it exposed to the air.I am applying it overtime before going to bed.I just open the cap, wipe extra oil on the wand and apply it directly on my lash.Like any oil castor oil takes a lot of time to show actual results.It's really hard to say if my eyelashes have grown but they don't break anymore for sure.

Really nice product, Organic Castor Oil, clear, no smell, and thick- not too runny. I use it on my lashes and it feels smooth and nourishing and did not irritate my eyes. I also used on my scalp it made my scalp feel good and my hair soft and shiny. If you are going use something like this on your body you want to be sure it is without unnatural chemicals that can cause irritation. I bought this castor oil about a week ago. I have been using it in my hair, skin, lashes, and eyebrows. I do notice a difference when I use it. It comes with a brush a dropper and a regular top. I love that I can use it and not have to worry if it gets on my newborn babies skin. It's all natural and organic. I recommend shiny leaf castor oil. This came quickly and came with an attached dropper and a spare lid. Also, it came with a mascara wand that could also be used on eyebrows. It was sealed securely and the bottle lid was shrink wrapped. It has the USDA seal and one of the EcoCert. It also clearly states that it wasn't tested on animals. I love that! I wanted this product for my hair primarily. The winter months are harsh on my hair. I use a leave-in conditioner when it's especially snarly and freaked out. I added a few drops (maybe 3) to the dollop in my hand and applied and worked it through, like always. It didn't change the smell of my product. However, I did notice a difference in the feel of my hair all day. Not texture so much but like a heavier coating. It didn't feel greasy, just different. I haven't used this on any part of my skin. I have two skin conditions and wanted to run this by my doctor before adding it my regimen. I can't see any harm but since I haven't used it in that manner I can't speak to the uses and benefits. I may update later though. I recommend this product. Yes, it made my hair feel differently but it wasn't terrible or uncomfortable. I think that with regular usage that the benefits would far outweigh the cons.

Wow! I love this organic castor oil especially since it's cold pressed. It comes in a glass bottle and has a dropper so it's easy to use. It has an eyelash brush to help use the castor oil on your eyebrows and eyelashes. I like to use the oil to take my makeup off and it keeps my skin super soft. I really enjoy this oil to help with any type of dandruff or dry skin. I will add a little bit of peppermint essential oil in the palms of my hand with the oil and put it in my hair. It's really nice to do a spa day by putting a damp towel into the microwave and warm it up enough to allow your hair to have an oil treatment. My hair is very healthy and avoids those frizzy days. I've been testing this because it's supposed to help dry skin and perhaps Dandruff. My scalp tends to be dry and flaky, where not even Head and Shoulder can solve my problem. I always knew castor oil is good for hairs. I have never tried in the past. I had heard in the past that it can have a bad smell. I decided to give try this time and to my surprise, it does not smell at all. It has really thick consistency. I cannot comment on hair growth yet as I just started using it. I have been having issues with losing my hair for over 10 years. I started to look for natural ways to deal with the hair loss. I found that Castor oil was a really good carrier oil to mix with Cedarwood for helping hair to grow back. I also use castor oil to make my eyelash boost serum with Cedarwood and Lavender. Sometimes I also add Rosemary Essential oil for more stimulation. I take a full dropper of castor oil mixed with 1 drop of Cedarwood and apply to the areas of hair loss or thinning. If I want to treat my whole scalp I use about 4 droppers of cedar wood and 4 drops of cedarwood. I leave it on for 30 minutes minimum before washing, but try to leave it on as long as possible. I massage it into my scalp to give my scalp some extra stimulation. This has worked really well for me and I am so happy that I have found a great way to treat for a small cost.

I purchased this castor oil for a couple of reasons. I wanted to use it for some dry skin patches. Also, I was looking to use it in my beauty routine on my eyebrows. Finally, I figured I could use this as a carrier oil for my essential oil collection. So far, I've used it on dry skin - it works great to nourish my skin and make it less itchy. Secondly, I've been using a very tiny amount to "set" my eyebrows after I've put my makeup on. It keeps them from becoming crazy looking. A teeny amount is all that is needed. I must say, I've become a recent fan of Shiny Leaf products. They don't contain any unnecessary additives and are cruelty-free, which means a lot to me. If I can use a product that doesn't hurt other living creatures and it's superior to what else is out there, then I'm going to be using it. Finally, when the winter comes, I'll be adding a few drops of this castor oil to my regular hand lotion to use before bedtime for added moisturizing and softness.

I use it for my hair twice a week in replacement of hot oil, the application, scalp massage and washing takes time, I leave it for 6-8 hours but it's worth the effort. In my opinion, this is high-quality Castor Oil. I have a dry scalp, this helps stop my dry scalp, and the itching that comes along with it. This Castor Oil also helps with my dandruff and split ends. There is a mascara wand that comes with this Castor Oil, that makes it easy to apply the oil on my lashes and brows. I use my Organic Castor Oil on my hair for regular maintenance. I put in my hand and massage into my scalp down through the ends of my hair. A few drops are all I need. It absorbs quickly feeling the natural and light weight. I would recommend.

I bought this as I am changing all of my hair and body products over to natural products - not due to being Cavan or anything but in preparation for my wedding, I researched what would make my skin look best and natural products kept getting praised. I've been on a natural facial routine for 5 weeks now and I can see a massive improvement- it's becoming a life long change for me due to the benefits I can noticeably see in such a small space of time. Changing over from my Clinique mascara is proving difficult though. So in prep, I am putting this castor oil on during the night and applying my mascara until it runs out. Honestly- the first night I put this castor oil on I dropped a drop onto the mascara wand it comes with and I managed to cover my two sets of lashes. There isn’t an overwhelming aroma in this bottle of castor oil, but it still has a natural scent. They’ve included an extra storage cap for you if you don’t plan on using the oil for awhile. There is also a brush for eye lashes included in the package if that’s your area of desired hair growth. The oil is very thick, you only need a few drops on your palm and use your finger tips to spread them on your eyebrows. It is also just clear and transparent, great for moisturizing the skin. I suppose the results vary on every individual, but it doesn’t hurt for a try right?

I completely forgot to check and make sure that this was 100% castor oil before purchasing. I was so scared because I've done that before and ended up with a mixture! I was so mad. This is the REAL DEAL! It's 100% cold pressed castor oil. I'm trying to grow my hair back after a stylist cut it all off, tragic story. Castor oil is an amazing oil for a healthy scalp! I've been using it for years. I mix it with rose oil and coconut oil to improve the smell. My hair grows so fast when I use this stuff. I couldn't imagine that my almost invisible eyelashes would look so good after just a week of using this castor oil. I first bought this for the hair loss/growth benefits of castor oil however it seemed to be too thick/sticky to use straight so I started using it on my cuticles. It moisturizes my nails and seems to strengthen them while helping them grow. I recently looked into how other people have used castor oil for hair growth without getting the sticky and hard to get out results. I found an article that said to just do a hair mask of coconut oil (or other oil) with the castor oil then using a conditioner mask for about 10 minutes to break down the castor oil so it's easier to get out of your hair. I've only tried the second way a few times now so I haven't seen any noticeable results. I'll update if I do.

A few years ago I had gotten very sick and lost a lot of my hair... I noticed that my eyelashes had also thinned out and just did not stand out anymore. I started using this and my teenager says he sees a difference. I kind of enjoy the relaxing feeling of putting this on my eyelashes! I have been putting this on like Mascara and occasionally had put my mascara on over it, right after putting the Castor Oil on them. It seemed like it helped the mascara look even nicer! When I opened my box I was pleasantly surprised at the size of the bottle. There are so many uses for castor oil, so this will last me a while. I have sensitive skin so I wanted to give this organic product a try. I immediately used it on my knees and elbows as they are very dry, now they stay soft and smooth all day. The product is thick but doesn't smell or leave your skin sticky or greasy. I also use it on my lashes (it comes with a wand) and brows to help stimulate hair growth. I do know that the results will not be immediate but I have faith that with a regiment (I apply nightly before bed), that I am sure to see results soon. This product is well worth a try!

I've been using this since I got it and I already noticed my eyelash growth and some of my eyebrows. I have new eyelashes growing in that are longer than the rest that's how I can tell this castor oil is actually working and so on for my eyebrows. This is great! I've been using on my eyelashes and skin for several days. I don't know about hair growth yet but my skin and around my eyes feel wonderful. I had never heard of using castor oil on your skin and thought I'd give it a try. It is very thick, no smell, and doesn't have any harsh chemicals so had no issues with skin irritation. I recently purchased the Shiny Lead argan oil shampoo and I absolutely love it! I told my girlfriend about it and she said she uses this Castor Oil by the same company. Her eyelashes are long and thick and very pretty. She swears by this stuff and said she saw her eyelashes began to grow very quickly with this. Not only in length but in thickness as well. Her reasoning on this brand over the others was the same reason I got their shampoo. No harsh chemicals and no contaminants and the real deal. So here I am. When I got the bottle I was very surprised at how big it was. This is not the normal 1-ounce bottle I am used to. I have a picture so you can see just how big the difference it is. This 4-ounce bottle will last a long time! Now, the mascara and I have never really gotten along. I have very oily skin and mostly run. The ones that don't run are extremely hard to wash off at night before bed. When I applied this to my eye lashes I noticed how dark and thick it made them look. To my pleasant surprise, it lasted all most all day! So guess what? I ditched my mascara and wear this daily instead. It is nice knowing that what I am wearing is actually helping my lashes and looks good too! Now in all honesty for special evenings and what not, I still occasionally put the mascara on as it is a bit darker. But that is rare! I use this daily now and love it. It is too early to tell if my lashes are growing but even if they don't, I love the way it makes my lashes look and knowing I am giving them something pure and healthy! Now I am a neat freak and this stuff is thick. You can make a mess quick. There are cap and mascara brush that comes with this. I was dripping this on my counter and told my husband to find a way to use this cap and mascara brush and join them. He took out the rubber seal under the cap and used an ice pick to make a hole and put the brush in the hole until it was firm. Placed the seal back under the cap and perfect! Works great with no more mess! Here is how I have learned to do it. Put it on the first thing to let it dry a bi t before other makeup. Your powder will stick to it! RUB RUB RUB the mascara brush against the top of the bottle to get as much excess off as you can! When you apply it, you will actually see little drops on your lashes of the oil. Use your thumb and fore finger to lightly pinch the excess off your lashes! And then your good for the whole day with dark pretty lashes! So yes I give this all 5 stars and am so glad I found it! Beats mascara any day and who knows my lashes could grow too! It is a win win! Great price for me too! I hope you found this helpful!

I was skeptical, considering the reviews saying it grew eyelashes overnight... however, I'm on week 3 of using it on my face and hair every night, and I have to say I started noticing my eyelashes were growing longer by week 2, my skin is soft & little wrinkles around my eyes & on forehead are less noticeable. One note for new users, however: you can rub this stuff all over your face to use as a moisturizer, on top of whatever you use normally for acne, etc., and it will not break you out as long as you go over your face afterward with tissue or towel to remove the extra oil. It actually has HELPED my acne, which is very strange to me, considering it's an oil. I can't tell if the hair on my head is any thicker or not, but it is well moisturized! I'm kicking my old expensive moisturizers & treatments to the curb - this is way cheaper and works MUCH better.

ok was a little leery about this working but it absolutely does something to my eyelashes. It must give them a good coating because in the morning when I put on my mascara, my lashes look longer and thicker. I am excited to put some in my shampoo. Just a few drops because it is thick. I put this on in the tub after I've taken out my contacts and taken my makeup off.. just rub it on my eye lashes and eyebrows.

I have read articles about using castor oil for eyelashes and eyebrows. I decided to try doing this and was amazed at how well it worked. I bought a well-reviewed brand and love using it. I have empty mascara tubes that were ordered before and have been waiting to put the castor oil in one and try it. When I did my eyelashes seemed a lot smoother and less tangled. I also am going to try it on my hair and skin. My eyebrows are very thin too. I applied the castor oil to them and am waiting for results. I only started using it on my eyebrows recently. I have been using a lash extension product that is a little over $50 for a fraction of an ounce. It worked well but I realized after a while I got to a point that I saw no more improvement. I stopped using the other product and started using Castor oil for the last week. I feel like my eye lash growth started to pick up again. I use it at night because it is an oil and I want to be able to apply makeup in the mornings. I also like that this can be used for more than just my eye lashes. I have used it in both my shampoo and also straight on my hair after it is wet and before I brush it out. A tip --- use a little bit each time because a little goes a long way. I love castor oil! It has a plethora of great uses. I like that Shiny Leaf included a brush to apply to the eyebrows and lashes as well as a dropper. There was not a strong fishy smell which was a pleasant surprise for me. The consistency is thick so upon application, you shouldn't need much.

I have begun to make a conscious effort to live a more natural lifestyle. I had heard about castor oil being great for hair growth, enhancing the color vibrancy in your hair, and for deep skin moisturizer and desired to try it but with so many options out there I wasn't sure which direction to go in. Shiny Leaf makes a Cold Pressed Organic Castor Oil which I had the opportunity to try for my honest review and I am glad I did. With your purchase, you receive a 4 fl. oz of oil, a dropper, an extra lid that can be used in place of the dropper, and a mascara or eyelash wand. The oil is rather thick so I did not want to place it directly on my hair with the thought it may make it appear greasy, but I put a drop into my conditioner while showering and what a difference it made. My hair feels soft and appears more healthy with just one use. I did test this on my skin as well but instead of using a carrier I put the oil on independently. It felt very heavy on my skin initially but about an hour later it felt like it had better absorbed and was not as sticky feeling. I also used it for cuticle care- boy this stuff is versatile! On to eyelashes.. for long-term growth effects you should apply this oil regularly, so I cannot say for sure if it is effective in that perspective yet, however, I am extremely hopeful! I would highly recommend this brand of castor oil and recommend that you experiment with it, adding it to different carriers such as shampoo, conditioner, or lotion, to enjoy the full effects!

I have always heard great things about castor oil but never had a chance to try it! There's no odor to it at all but it's much thicker than I expected. I'm used to bio oil, which has the consistency similar to baby oil. I hope this will help with lash growth. I previously used Latisse, but that can get pricey. I did try it on my feet and it did wonders! I pumiced my foot a little too much and it got pretty dry. I had tried baby, coconut, and olive oil. None of those did a thing. Then I tried castor and it was back to normal!

I have been using this Organic Castor oil for my eyelashes and I can tell the difference in the eyelashes lengths. It's a great quality product. I highly recommend.

I recently became aware of all the benefits and uses of castor oil and was intrigued to try it for several reasons. First, I wanted to try it on my eczema. Within the past year, I have been suffering from patches of eczema and the itching drives me crazy! I have the worst patch on the palm of my hand and now my scalp. I really wish I had taken a before photo of my palm because the difference is remarkable! It was to the point of breaking open and even bleeding at times. The skin has healed so much in the past few days that I am amazed. The itching has reduced by at least 90%. I simply use the included dropper to apply a few drops to my palm and rub it in. I have done this three times a day for 3 days now and it already shows an amazing improvement. The second reason was for my scalp, as well as my hair. As stated above, my scalp has become very dry and itchy. I can literally peel scabs off my scalp. At 41 years old, this condition only recently surfaced and I have been at a loss at what to do. I have tried absolutely everything to soothe and help heal it. The only thing that has worked was when I am prescribed Prednisone. Obviously, this is not the best choice because of all the side effects. I have been applying this castor oil to my scalp before bedtime. It is a little sticky and very thick. I do it at bedtime so it can remain for several hours and because I don't care what I look like at that time. It hasn't miraculously cured my scalp issue but it has definitely helped. It seems as though it is fighting it. At least I am no longer scratching my head 24/7. Due to the scalp issue, my hair has stopped growing. So I also apply a few drops to the hair strands. I haven't noticed a difference yet but am sure it is going to take a few weeks to show results for growth. Finally, I wanted to try this to have on hand for any joint pain, an anti-fungal, and to apply it to my eyelashes. This oil comes with a mascara brush making it very convenient to apply. I would love my lashes to be fuller and thicker and have been faithfully using it every day. Based on my personal results, I highly recommend this oil to anyone suffering from a similar skin condition. I can vouge firsthand that this stuff makes a huge difference in dry skin and reduced itching tremendously!

A friend told me she used castor oil on her eyelashes and as a body moisturizer so I decided to give it a try. I have been using it before bed and applying it to my eyelashes. It's very easy to apply. I use the brush to apply it to my lashes at night before bed. I can already begin to tell a difference in how my lashes getting longer and thicker. I am going to put this on every night now and plan on having longer lush lashes from now on.

It works!!!! I used to put the fake eyelashes after a while it makes your original eyelashes very short. The organic oil made them grow in less than a month! I would apply it every night in my eyelashes and you can deff see the difference. Very happy with this product

Back in the day, people used castor oil for literally everything. As a kid, you think of things like this as old wives tales, but using Castor Oil, good, quality Castor Oil, is far from a tale. This has been great in helping my edges to fill back in, moisturizing and growing my overall hair, lashes and brows. This is amazing stuff. I bought this because I have eczema and this helps moisturize my skin. It worked great. I also wash my hands a lot for work so my cuticles are all dried out and after using a tiny drop of this on my skin and cuticles I saw the difference it made. This castor oil is very thick so a little really goes a long way.

Before I heard much about this oil from different people, that it can help a lot with many problems like dry skin, hair-loss and etc.. I've used one other castor oil before, and it honestly doesn't compare to the quality of Shiny Leaf's castor oil. From the first application (I used on my face and eyelashes), you can tell a little goes a super long way! The oil is thick, but not too thick if that makes sense. It absorbs well. I had never used castor oil as a moisturizer, but decide to give this a try over the course of several days. I was pleased. My primary use will be for my eyelashes (which the eyelash brush that comes with the oil is handy for). But there are so many other options for it. You can really tell this is a quality oil. I also think it's worth noting that this oil comes with a spooly brush for eyelash application and a lid to put on the bottle if you won't be using the dropper. A couple of nice little additions. ((Tip for using this oil on eyelashes: Because this oil is slightly thick, I find that a little goes a long way. It's hard to get just a little oil on the brush, so it works out good to dip the brush in once and apply to both eyelashes, then go behind that application with a dry brush to spread the oil out evenly on lashes. Maybe the company could consider including two little spooly brushes?))

This oil is very thick, but that is okay. I am hoping it will help my thinning hair, so I don't want it too thin and runny. I haven't used it long enough yet to know whether it will help my hair growth, but I am keeping my fingers crossed.

I made this purchase because I was hearing everyone say how great this product was and wanted to give it a try, well i was hesitant to use it on my eyelashes, so I tried it on my skin, it's not greasy feeling and does leave your skin soft so I tried it in my eyebrows and lashes and well I can't say that they've grown but I can say that my brows look great and hope that with continued use I can see a better difference I also use it on my grandson who has a dry scalp.

This castor oil smells and feels the same as the more expensive castor oil brands I have purchased over the years. It is organic, hexane free and cold pressed, all of which are important to me when I'm buying something that will be put on my skin and hair. What sets this one apart for me is the bottle. I appreciate the dropper type bottle instead of the pump because it is easier to have an open bottle if you use your castor oil in large amounts for making castor oil packs or hair treatments. The dropper is also pretty useful for measuring the amount of castor oil to be used in a treatment. I am completely satisfied with this brand of castor oil, the bottle it comes in and the price.

This is one of the better castor oils I've tried. I purchased it to add to my homemade lip balm and body creams, and it's made my skin so much more soft and supple. It has a light scent, and doesn't overpower the essential oils I add for scent and absorbs quickly.

ut my lashes I love this castor oil! I like to make my own concoctions with castor oil and the consistency and texture are perfect for my lashes. I love the fact that It comes with the eyelash tool. I wipe my eyelashes before I go to bed and that's pretty much it. When I wake up in the morning the oil does not run or irritate my eyes. And that's all I can really ask for

This castor oil is fantastic for so many uses! My husband uses to prevent dry skin, my mother in law uses to reduce dark spots on her arm, and I use it for my eyelashes. You can't go wrong with this product. There is no noticeable smell. Highly recommended.

I do actually like the organic castor oil. I only use it on my hair that's why I bought it. It doesn't have a strong smell. It's a bit thick and little tacky but I just combat that by rubbing the oil on my scalp and I did see hair growth. I just started to use this oil like 3 days ago plus I take 20,000 mcg biotin Daily so I don't know if it's the biotin or the oil. Either way, I like to use both of these at the same time. Also, you do get a lot for 12 bucks so I do recommend this if you are looking for an oil for overall hair strength and if you don't like it for your hair you can use it for your skin so it won't be a total waste of your money.

Great Hydrant for skin, hair and it helps eye lashes grow. I have an oily face, but my body is usually dry and I wanted to get a light moisturizer. But then I encountered this product and thought well why not, it has so many advantages. I don't regret it. Feels really good on the skin and on top of it all its antibacterial which was very important to me because I'm super allergic and has very sensitive skin.

I was looking for something to nourish my eye lashes since I pull them out in my sleep or when I'm anxious. I had never used or has any experience with castor oil, but I heard it was good for lashes. When I tried it, I noticed that it smelled a little like olive oil, which is a light scent for me. The oil is fairly thick and I'm glad it came with a mascara type wand. I made sure to apply the oil to the wand then wipe most of it off so it was dripping or that it wouldn't clump up or drip on my lashes. I used it on my lashes and brows and noticed they felt soft and smooth. I also used some to smooth out the frizz from my thick wavy latina hair, and it felt great. A little goes a long way, so I only needed a couple of drops.

This is a really good quality product. It works perfectly. Here are some features I have observed about this product: 1) It works immediately for dry hair and oils it out. We applied to our dry hair and the hair looked much healthier after that. 2) We also used it for our baby hair, as this is one of the traditional remedies recommended for baby hair. It protected the baby hair as well. 3) This is made organically, so I am not worried about any toxic chemicals inside. 4) It comes with a dropper and 3 different application brushes to suit all kinds of application needs. 5) The bottle is a good size and since we use it for our baby, it is going to last for a month I think. Overall, it is a great product and recommends making the purchase.

Where has this been all my life?! I'm 30 years old and just recently learned about castor oil as a beauty product. When I was in high school, thin brows were in, and I had the best. Well fast forward 15 years and that's a thing of the past. My eyebrows haven't grown in many years due to over plucking when I was younger and I pretty much have up hope. I'd tried the lash gel on my brows with no luck, so I didn't have high hopes for this product. I have to say, I'm impressed (and pretty damn excited)! My brows are growing back! Where I didn't use to have to pluck, I'm now having to clean up. I'm patiently waiting for more to fill in to ditch the brow gel!

My grandmother used to use castor oil for absolutely everything and I thought to myself what is the castor oil that such a health benefit? So I did a little research and found that organic cold pressed castor oil is the best so I wanted to try this. As I get older my hair gets thinner and rubbing this in the scalp neutralizes the pH balance of some of the harsh shampoos and stuff that we use during the day. I have noticed a difference. Also works for eyelashes eyebrows and dry skin.The oil is also high in vitamin E, minerals, proteins and other nutrients that are beneficial to skin and hair. Good size bottle as well.

Perfect! I've noticed my eyelashes getting thinner and they're not as long as they used to be. I'm 24, so I looked into this and it claims to help so I'm giving it a try. I will update with progress as I go. I like it so far. It is a huge bottle! It'll last a very long time. You can even use a few drops on your hair ends to help with split ends. It comes with a dropper, a different lid if you don't like the dropper and an eyelash tool. When you apply to your lashes, close your eyes and apply from above, that way if it does drip, it won't get in your eye. Little pro tip there.. Well, anyway so far, I'm digging this!

I call this stuff my miracle oil. I put it on my hair, eyelashes, skin (especially my dry knees and elbows)... this stuff is absolutely amazing!!! It goes a long way, so the bottle lasts a long time, but when you use it as much as I do you'll want to have a backup on hand. My eyelashes are longer, my hair is fuller, shinier and looks and feels healthier, even my hair dresser noticed the difference. My skin looks better too! I still love my coconut oil but this is my go to product for my hair and skin needs. Plus... it smells really good.

This is a great product. I have used other brands of Castor oil and this one by Shiny Leaf is high quality and has faster, more effective results than the other brands I have used. What is great about Castor Oil is it can be used for so many things, topically to aid in pain relief of joints (which is what I have been doing). Besides of course using it to have softened the skin and assist in hair growth (ie using it on your eyelashes to make them grow longer).

So I ordered this organic castor oil from Shiny Leaf, out of curiosity. I have very sensitive skin and can only use natural products and see as castor oil is natural and organic, I gave it a try. It comes in a dark glass bottle with a glass dropper, this tells me it's authentic. It also has a flat lid if you don't need the dropper. It has the consistency of honey but not sticky and not runny. It also has no smell. You only need a few drops for your whole face and neck, I used three drops. It goes on your skin very smooth and it absorbs quickly into your skin. It's not the SLIGHTEST bit greasy. I decided to use it as my only moisturizer for the day. My skin remained soft and supple the whole day and I didn't break out. Some oils and creams will either leave your skin feeling heavy and greasy or tight and dry. This castor oil is FANTASTIC and I will be using it everyday! It also comes with a wand for your eyelashes. I was leery about trying this so close to my eyes but because it's not runny and you only need a LITTLE bit, I just might see if I can grow my lashes :)

So far, I'm quite pleased. After reading a bunch of reviews for this and other brands of Castor Oil, I decided to only use the smallest amount on each set of lashes. And I'm thrilled to report that this has already been worth its weight in gold to me. I've always had sparse eyelashes on the bottoms, and the tops were just barely ok. Ever since I've been using this on my eyelashes, SPARINGLY, I've seen good results. I'm definitely going to keep using it. Additionally, I will start using it as an overnight treatment on my hair next. I will more than likely get a bottle for my mom, too.

Wow! This product truly works! I tried it on my hair right - I applied it right before washing for an hour and hair became soft and nice when it dried. My friend also recommended to use castor oil for eyelashes - I chose this brand because it certified USDA organic and comes with a brush that makes it easier to apply. I am happy with my purchase.

This oil is scentless, so no worries about smelling oily when you are in public. If you desire a scent, just add a few drops of lavender oil or any scent your desire. I add a little to my hair conditioner, and I put a little on my finger tips and rub into my scalp, while my hair is wet or dry, it makes my hair soft and smooth. You do not need much, the consistency of the oil is not too thick and not too thin.I use on face, hair, skin. absorbs easily too, don't need to put a lot I just drop couples for my hair first I notice is my split end helps. It's less frizz now and almost turned soft. I even noticed that my hair fall reduced to 50% and new hair growing on the scalp and frontal areas. I am in love with this product. OMG! LADIES- you must try this!! I'm in multiple beauty groups on Facebook, and when I asked for a recommendation on dry broken hair- this was the top recommendation. I was hesitant to buy since I had never used anything like this, but I'm so glad I did. I only used but a drop or two and massaged into my hair well- let it sit for a few hours. I've used it for consecutive days now, and my hair is already looking better and healthier- especially the color and the ends. I haven't used it long enough to notice hair growth, but I'm excited to see results. However, I love how healthy and shiny my hair has been since I began using it, and will continue. Universal oil for face and hair beauty! It can be used for the skin, as well as strengthens the hair and stimulates the growth of eyelashes. Personally, I need and all of the above! Started to use, share experiences. In addition to the bottle, there is a brush for eyelashes and a pipette - it's very convenient. The oil has a pleasant consistency, there is practically no smell. After use, the skin is really well hydrated and becomes more pleasant to the touch. Eyelashes have not grown yet, but I'm sure this will happen soon. I recommend this oil "for yourself" and as a gift!

This castor oil is awesome! The thickness is perfect as a carrier oil for my Natural Bug Repellent. I am so pleased with it I decided I should share it here. The castor oil comes with a great eyelash brush and a glass dropper. I use disposable droppers when using my essentials oils into a roller or spray bottle. I doubled the recipe for the spray bottle that I had. I put in the 3 Tablespoons of water, 2 teaspoons of castor oil and 20 drops each of thyme and lemongrass essential oils. Shake it lightly before spraying it on. My husband loves to spray it on before mowing the lawn. We love the smell and appreciate the effectiveness. The thick castor oil works perfectly in it! I hope it helps you.

A friend from work recommended this to me. And I am glad I listened to her. I must say I am surprisingly pleased. I use this as a preconditioner for my hair. I put it all over my hair, put it up in a bun for about an hour before showering. This leaves my hair extremely soft. I also put it on my ends daily. I will try this on my eyelashes next.

I'm usually a skeptic when it comes to different "miracle" products that are supposed to help hair growth, but I was so wrong. This product, literally within two weeks of consecutive application to my eyebrows and eyelashes, has caused significant growth. So many people thought that I had done something to them, like mascara or false lashes, but this is the only product I had been using on them. My eyebrows are nice and thicker and they are not patchy anymore, and my lashes are much stronger and longer. The bottle is convenient and comes with a dropper and an applicator mascara bristle brush so it's easy to apply. Will definitely be purchasing again.

Ok so my Daughter's hair gets very dry and she has curly hair! Was hard finding something good for kids! Was told by my Mom to check out Castor Oil! Had to ask was it safe for kids but if you think about it! It is 100% pure and organic so of course, it's safe! I can say this was a perfect choice! I am so excited to try out this oil. I love how it came with the dropper and an eyelash wand and was packaged in a reusable box to keep everything safely together. The bottle of oil is so large, I imagine it will last for a long time. It's a great value! I will be making my own mascara with it. Castor oil conditions eyelashes and encourages growth and regrowth as well as preventing breakage.

I've taken a before and after photo. There's a pretty big difference after just 1-week use. I know it was best to apply it twice a day but I almost always forgot to apply it in the morning. But never in the evening. After I would do my evening facial ritual, I'd apply this to my brows. So with that being said, and me applying this only 1 time a day for a week and my results have been very noticeable. I have been extremely satisfied. Please see before and after photo. And "NO!" There's no makeup used in any of these photos.

This is what I like to call a miracle in a bottle. I didn't even notice how many uses there were for this Castor oil. A few drops go a long way. So far I have used it on my friend's hair (her hair has a straw like texture) and my eyelashes. I can't wait to explore the other uses. In just one use on my friend's hair, there was a major improvement . while I was applying it to my hands to put in her hair it felt sticky but once in her hair, it didn't feel sticky in her hair or on my hands. I didn't even need or wash my hands after. No strong odors either. It also didn't leave her hair feeling greasy! When I used it on my eyelashes it did bead up so I do recommend putting the beads off with something. I wore it on my eyelashes all day with no issues. Just please keep in mind A LITTLE GOES A LONG WAY! There's no need to overdo this product. Try this out and I am sure you will be as happy as we are. We went into this skeptical and came out believers. The company was great to work with and very fast at shipping and responding to any questions I had. This is a must have product!

Shiny Leaf Castor oil helped revive my friend's straw-like textured hair. It is making my eyelashes look amazing too! It does bead up on eyelashes so I suggest patting the beads off. Upon application of hair it feels sticky. Two little drops go such a long way ! After rubbing it in my friends hair it didn't feel sticky or look greasy. Her hair felt more alive than it ever had ! I didn't even need to wash my hands afterwards because it absorbed in well! Before I received this product I wasn't aware of all the uses of this product! It is so multipurpose ! This castor oil is a bit different from others I have tried. I liked it because it absorbs quickly and does hydrate and nourish my skin. I have been using it on my feet and body after showering. It works great. I have noticed it is softening my callouses along with the soles of my feet as well. I have also applied a small amount to the tips of my wet hair and have seen some improvements as well.

I love good cold pressed castor oil! This is great stuff. I put the dropper in and rubbed my big pregnant belly, and it worked great. So far I have used this on my skin and hair, and I love it. It makes my eyelashes thicker and longer, it moisturizes my skin and a tiny amount applied throughout my hair (especially the ends), keeps my hair looking really healthy, shiny and thick. I've heard so much about castor oil and it's amazing benefits. I could not believe the benefits of this stuff especially for hair growth. I've used this one time and made a hair mask (along with other ingredients) and I also use this to massage on my scalp. I have had some problems with thinning hair due to low iron, so I was looking for a natural supplement that I could use daily to help my hair regrow, and pills are not an option. Castor oil can be beneficial in stimulating hair growth and thickening. It's considered a "warm" oil, in that it inspires circulation increase. That blood flow helps the follicles produce. If you rub some in your palms (just a smidge) and warm it, then apply to roots before bed, it can help over time. I have seen some success with people. It's also antifungal/antibacterial and can be used in hair masks to fight both types of dandruff. I like this Shiny Leaf castor oil because it is cold pressed and of quality. It's smooth and easy to work with. It's high quality so a little goes a long way. Start with drops and work from there.

My wife got a chance to test out this castor oil product for her eyelashes and her face. She's loving it, her eyelashes are now fuller than ever with only using it for two weeks. And she used the castor oil as a face serum and her face has cleared up and has a loving glow to it. So I took a try to it since my face was breaking out and I was always looking exhausted. Loved it from first sight. I massaged the oil into my hair/scalp last night, mixed with a drop of coconut oil and a drop of Argan Oil and left it in overnight. Let me just say; I did not want to remove the oil the entire day. It felt so good. I do not like anything on my hair. I never use any products. But it just felt wonderful. After washing it off, It feels even more awesome. I honestly did not expect such results but the hair now feels Soft. Lush. Alive. Thick. Healthy. like pure silk. I was open to trying a new castor oil, as the one I was using didn't seem to provide many benefits from using it. This one seemed to be of high quality so I decided to buy it. Another way I've been using it is in my hair. It seems the older I get the more I lose my hair when I wash it. Feels good on my scalp but I haven't yet noticed a difference in the thickness of my hair. Perhaps I need to give it more time. I'm going to begin using it on my eyelashes, as these have thinned over the years. If you're wanting to try a new castor oil then I would certainly recommend this product! Very very thick (which is good - it is supposed to be Castor oil) and the bottle was so full that when I put the dropper in it overflowed (just used the excess on my hands. Love that it comes with eyelash applicators as well. I've never used castor oil on my lashes before so I don't know if it works for that, but it is a good bottle of oil.

It comes with an eyelash brush for application. *** I mixed up my own oil blend using this Pure Castor oil, Fractionated coconut oil and Sweet almond oil. A little bit of this Castor oil goes a long way. It has a mild, nutty smell about it, which is not offensive. I am glad to have this Castor oil in my oil collection, I will be ready for whatever issues come my way.

I love castor oil and its countless benefits. The cold pressed castor oil is the purest of castor oils and doesn’t have any additional ingredients but the oil itself. Shiny Leaf Castor Oil is a premium quality. Here are some of my favorite uses and benefits: - It relieves muscle soreness. If you tend to overwork your muscles now and then this would be your perfect solution. Use it as a massage oil by itself or mixed with essential oils. - It helps with hair growth. Apply a few drops to your scalp and massage thoroughly. Cover your hair with a shower cap. Wash off in an hour. You might need to wash your hair 2-3 times. Your hair will get used to it eventually and it will be easier to wash it off. Make sure you don’t have any important events next day when you try this for the first time. - It can thicken your eyelashes. Apply every night with an old mascara brush. - It moisturizes the skin. Rub a few drops between your palms to warm it up, and apply to your skin. A little goes a long way. - It extends your sleep. If you work crazy hours like me and your body has crazy bio clock this little trick will help you sleep full 7-9 hours during the weekend. Dab one drop on your eyelids when you go to bed. That’s just the tip of an iceberg. It came on time, nicely packaged, and looked exactly like the pictures online, and even came with a re-useable spoolie and applicator to apply it to your lashes and brows which I really appreciate. It came with 4oz. of product which is awesome, I can’t imagine running out of this in my lifetime because you only use a tiny amount to coat your lashes and brows so I'll have it forever, lol. The oil is almost completely scentless which I always prefer and it’s a lot thicker than I thought. I imagined it would be liquidy like other essential oil type products I’ve tried but this is thicker which is actually nice because it doesn’t drip into your eyes when you coat your lashes, it sticks to them really well until it absorbs/dries. It doesn’t irritate my eyes at all and I haven’t had any negative reactions with my skin so I’m really happy with it so far!
